Today for Day 5, we will be creating Llama art using our Papelitos Art program!
Materials:
It is paced so that your children can interact and make their project right along with the video. If they need extra time to complete a step, feel free to pause and let them finish. Just hit unpause and continue when they're ready!
These videos are perfect for language learners because they are done Dora and Diego style. Children will learn shapes, colors, and new vocabulary while gaining confidence to complete an art project in a second language!
Choose your language and press play. 🎥

We would love to see your Llamas!
Take a picture of your child with their art, and share it with us.

After the video, try these extra activities for more Mama Llama week fun!
Note: This is a part of the Mother's Day project, so make sure you save the page when your child finishes it.
You will need:
1. Say "All of these llamas have different faces. Their faces are showing how they feel. Can you guess how this llama feels?" Go through the cares, and make sure your children know what the different llamas emotions mean.
2. Cut the cards apart, and put them in a pile face down.
3. Have a child choose a card, look at it, then put it down again. They will try to act out the emotion with saying any words. Everyone else can try and guess which emotion they are acting out.
Hint: If emotions are brand new, you might want to make another copy of the emotion cards. Keep the page intact, and allow children to refer to it when guessing the emotions. This helps children in the beginning stages of language learning still be able to participate.
4. Take turns acting out the emotions until all of the cards have been used.
By signing up, I understand I will also receive emails from Spanglish Schoolhouse about Preschool resources.
