After the video, try these extra activities for more Mama Llama week fun!
You will need:
Note: This is a part of the Mother's Day project, so make sure you save the page when your child finishes it.
1. Have your child draw a picture of their mom's favorite things inside each of the images.
2. If your child is not an independent writer, you can either:
- "Dictate their answers." This means writing down exactly what they say even if it is not grammatically correct.
- Ask the questions, and write down their answers on a dry erase board or scratch paper. This is one step towards independence when they can write letters, but don't know how to spell words yet.
You will need:
1. Say "The poor llama is cold! She lost her fur. Can you help her get warm again?"
2. Roll the dice, and count out that many cotton balls to put on the llama.
3. You can adjust the difficulty by the size of the cotton ball. If it is too easy, tear the balls in half or more and make them smaller. 😉
By signing up, I understand I will also receive emails from Spanglish Schoolhouse about Preschool resources.
